Seen at Kinokuniya Bookstore
If you love manga, anime, fashion or photography -or happen to be fluent in Japanese- then Kinokuniya Bookstore across from Bryant Park is a must. It has been a favorite place for me to go between shows during fashion week in the past but now that FW is moving to Lincoln Center I need to find other times to go there. I was there yesterday and saw this boy. I love how the bottom of his pants remind me of long underwear and his topknot. A look to steal.

Just Call Her Miley "Leggy" Cyrus
We usually chastise Miley Cyrus for showing too much leg. Teen icons just shouldn't dress like this…or do this. But here is one instance when Miley gets our praises for shortening her hemline.
Miley owned Hervé Léger's dress at the London premiere of Hannah Montana back in April. The dress owned Monica Cruz at a Mango launch party this week in Madrid.
With such a bold shoulder and elaborate beading, a knee length was just too much fabric for Penélope's sister to handle. And the Christian Louboutin peep-toes were pretty but predictable. Miley's gunmetal pumps creatively completed her edgy high-fashion look.
Who do you think rocked the embellished dress best?

Michelle Obama is Honored by Glamour
December's issue of Glamour will honor 12 women as "Woman of the Year." Popular icons that have overcome serious challenges or given back to society are recognized by the fashion magazine. Among the winners are Maya Angelou, Rihanna, Serena Williams, Susan Rice and, of course, Michelle Obama.
The First Lady is interviewed by guest writer Katie Couric, and she gives this great advice to women still looking for love...
"Cute's good. But cute only lasts for so long. Then it's 'Who are you as a person?' Don't look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul. When you're dating a man, you should always feel good."
